This Lady Patricia in Nacre is in excellent condition overall with a beautiful Wet Noodle nib! The body and cap has no structural damage. No chips, bite marks, or cracks. The imprints are fantastically deep and detailed. There is however some trim wear most notably on the steep edges of the clip, and the edges of the cap band. The lever however looks flawless, and functions perfectly. As mentioned the original Waterman's 14k gold #2 nib is a wet noodle! It writes from a Fine to BBBB with beautiful shading and nice responsiveness. The nib does have a slight problem in that it has stress lines coming from the heart shaped breather hole. I would recommend the new owner to not flex to BBBB all the time and stay within a range of F-BBB and that should extend the life of the nib to last for many years. Or you can send it off to one of the greats like G. Minuskin to have the nib repaired to restore this beauty to its full flexing glory. To find a Lady Patricia with a wet noodle nib is becoming rarer and rarer as these pieces slowly get taken down by the aging celluloid. This model shows no crazing and is structurally sound! Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 11cm capped, 13.7cm posted, and 10cm unposted.
