[SOLD]Swan SF2 9kt Solid Gold Band Black Hard Rubber

It is quite rare to find these self fillers with solid gold bands. This one has it fully hallmarked with the 375 denoting its 9kt gold content. This pen also has an original Swan #2 nib which is the correct size for the Self Filler 2 model. The nib offers huge flex and is a Superflex nib. Writes from Fine-F/M to BBBB with beautiful shading. Truly a gem of vintage pens. The gold trim parts show some wear on the edges and raised portion of the clip, and on the lever. The lever functions flawlessly and draws/expels ink like a champ. The imprints are almost completely gone, but if you have good eyes can make out part of the Swan logo and a past imprint of Mabie Todd. The hard rubber is not jet black, but is very dark and unless in very bright light will appear black. The pen is in perfect writing condition without any major damage like chips, cracks, or bite marks. The superflex nib is close to a wet noodle and offers outrageous amounts of line variation. A nice full size pen that feels great in the hand. Threads are excellent, and cap screws on/off smooth and snug. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements: 13.6cm capped, 17.1cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
