Excellent condition Parker 51 Special in Burgundy with 14k gold nib! Most Parker 51 Specials have a steel Octanium nib. Gold nib on this is smooth! Imprints are a bit faint, but can make out " Made in USA 51" with no date code which means this is a later model. No date code plus the gold nib dates it to the 1960's. Cap and clutch ring works perfectly like new. Aerometric filler works beautifully. The pli-glas sac has a tiny hint of blue stain(looks better than the pictures). Original polished steel cap with perfect condition black cap jewel. Clip has superb tension. Puts down a medium wetness line between XF and Fine. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.9cm capped, 15.1cm posted, and 12.6cm unposted.
