[SOLD]Parker 51 Burgundy Aerometric with Springy Nib!
I've just ran into one of the best Parker 51 Aeros that I've laid my hands on! An excellent condition P51 in Burgundy! What makes this special is the semi-springy 14k gold nib! All the P51's I've come across were nails. Smooth but nails. This one when pressure is applied the tines actually spread a little. The nib is also quite unique as it is almost stub like. On the side strokes its a Fine, even extra fine if you have a very light hand, but on the down strokes it's a Broad, and if you apply some pressure becomes a B+/BB. I've never seen other P51's even with a gold nib exhibit this kind of writing pleasure! Aerometric filler in excellent working condition and offers a nice full fill. Cap jewel in great shape. Clip has excellent tension. Only fault I can give this pen is on the side of the clip tip is some scratches probably meaning the clip was loose at one point and caused those scratches. Not very apparent since the cap has a brushed finish unless you're looking for those scratches close up. The sac isn't pli-glas, but is a white silicone rubber which should last much longer than the black silicone latex sacs. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements: 13.7cm capped, 15.4cm posted, and 12.7cm unposted.
