[SOLD]Waterman 503 Black
A beautiful Waterman 503 made in England. The smaller brother of the 515, these pens offer great writing ability in a affordable package. This pen has the Book Keeper imprints which means it originally had an Accountant nib. Somewhere along the line it was replaced with a Warrented 14k gold semi-flex nib. Which is quite an upgrade for the past owner that wanted some flex yet retain the Fine controllable line that this nib offers. It writes from a Fine to a BB when flexed. Offers nice shading compared to its original Accountant nib. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. The cap top has white paint which to my understanding is original to distinguish its nib from other styles(I've seen red top as well). Imprints are superb and nice and deep. Gold trim on lever and cap bands are immaculate. The lever has just a hint of wear, but has excellent tension. The pen has a nice glossy finish, looks great, and feels even better in the hand. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements: 13cm capped, 16.8cm posted, and 11.8cm unposted.
