Many of you have seen me list the barrel and cap of a mint Exclusive, but it was missing a section. Not having the business end is quite the turn off especially if you're not already a Exclusive owner. I did source a section/nib unit from a Executive which is the perfect fit. The Executive and Exclusive seem to share the same nib, but housed in different style sections. This pen is lacquer over brass giving a nice heft. The build quality is top notch as you can see in the color and the trim. The mottled red screams class and elegance in the pen. The nib is a Medium and 18k gold. Writes very smooth with just a bit of give compared to most modern nails. The pen comes with a converter and is fully cleaned after my writing sample and ready for ink. The sourced section from an Executive is not in mint condition but has seen very little use as evidenced by the gold ring. These rings are probably the first part that show wear since they are a little prone to ink eating away the plating. This one has fully intact plating on the ring. The threads on the section are not perfect, but threads into the barrel with no problems what so ever. When posting the cap clicks into place for a solid post. The pen overall is in near mint condition. It is no longer made and hard if not impossible to find one in pristine condition like this. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 14.5cm capped, 16cm posted, and 12cm unposted.
