[SOLD]Swan 2060 Leverless #6 Nib
This 2060 had the largest nib of its series housing an impressive #6 nib. It's a big oversize pen. This pen in particular is in excellent condition with only micro scratches, and a barely noticeable chip. Cap has a tiny less than 1mm chip on the lip, but does not have cracks or hairlines. The chip is like a super tiny semi-circle at the lip. The cap bands show no plating loss, but is engraved "Owen Jones Bethel 1950." The clip shows no wear what so ever. Imprints are are very deep and crisp, but the word "Trademark" on the K looks imperfect. Not sure if it came from the factory like this or a scratch occurred on the K. The earlier versions of this pen has the flat ends, but this torpedo shaped one screams class, and is definitely some of the better made Swans of its day. The nib is a huge #6 that has huge flex. Most of these will be found with a #6 Eternal nib which is a nail. This one writes a Wet Medium unflexed and flexes to BBB. Very soft nib that flexes easily. The nib is not perfect. It had a bend when I got it, and I straightened it out to be perfectly functional, but you can still see a slight imperfection at where it was bent. But all in all, this is a huge oversize Leverless with a huge #6 FLEXIBLE nib(Superflex bordering Wet Noodle), not the stiff Eternal(Nail) nibs. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 14cm capped, 17.6cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
