A very rare Swan Red Mottled Hard Rubber with an extremely flexible nib! This is a large pen! The imprints are superb on this beauty, and there is little to no discoloration of the hard rubber. The model imprint reads, "SF200C MED." All imprints are crisp. The lever has very minor brassing. The threads are excellent and cap screws on smooth and snug. Swan logo on top of the cap is deep and crisp. Cap is in perfect condition with no cracks, hairlines, or splits of any kind. Pen does have personalization that reads, "M. Barr" that I forgot to take a picture of(its small). So I can take a pic for prospective buyer if they want. The only damage to this pen is 2 scratches at the butt end of the barrel which can hardly be seen without in-depth inspection. The nib is not perfectly straight, and has a slight kink (very slight) which does not affect functionality. It writes like a dream with amazing flex. Superflex catagory easily acheived on this one, and some might even consider it a wet noodle, but I'm not going to class it as such since previous wet noodles I've sold were just a touch more flexible. Writes from Med-BBB. This pen will definitely give you the joy of writing with vintage flex! The pen will railroad when flexed at its max every so often, but this is quite normal when flexing to the max. As you can see in the writing sample which my GF did in one go, it railroaded then went back to its flexing self without missing a beat. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 14cm capped, 17.5cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
