A very nicely preserved example of a Waterman 3 full size in Green Marble with Red Specks. The Green Marbling effect is deep, and the red specks really make the pen pop. Imprints are fantastic on the pen. The clip MIGHT not be original. I'm not sure as I've seen several clip designs on Waterman 3's and 3v's. All I can say is that the clip is not the common one seen with this model although I saw several different clips. It does have decent tension although not the best tension, but should be fine for clipping into a shirt pocket. The nickel trim is in good condition except the cap band which has notable wear. Model imprint on the butt end is legible. The nib is where this pen shines. The original Waterman's Ideal 14k Gold #2 nib writes a nice smooth Fine unflexed, and flexes to BB+ with great responsiveness. Its a smooth pen that shades very nicely with a shading ink. This is perfect for someone that wants a nice vintage Waterman, but don't want it in hard rubber(ebonite) due to its discoloration characteristics. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 15.7cm posted, and 12.2cm unposted.
