This is the second P51 I have for sale. This is the full size in black, but has a cap from a 51 Special since it is chrome with a black jewel. Matches the pen nicely, but must be disclosed. Cap is beautifully chromed with no wear, and is nice and shiny. The body is very nice and has worn imprints but is legible under decent lighting. Date code of 1949 1st quarter. The hood is a little chipped on the very tip, but hardly noticeable since it was most likely evened out. And there is a chip on the underside as well. The Parker 14k gold nib writes a consistent Medium line. A great looking pen besides the two small chips in the hood. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid on 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.8cm capped, 15.3cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
