This deskpen is pretty neat. It is missing a base, and the section's hard rubber has oxidized to a dark brown. But the beauty is the upgraded Waterman Ideal's 14k gold New York made nib. The deskpen itself is most likely not a Waterman because of the lever. This would make a great piece on any's personal desk or office desk. The nib alone is worth 80% of the price I'm asking for. Everything functions perfectly. A tiny bit of swelling around the lever, but the lever itself is solid and will work without any problems. The lever draws/expels ink like a champ. The feed has superb inkflow that delivers to the beautiful flexible nib. Which is a beautifully smooth Medium that flexes to BBB+. The nib has stub like qualities. Without flexing the horizontal strokes are thinner than the downstrokes. Perfect for signatures or adding character to your writing. Thoroughly cleaned and restored. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 18.8 cm with the tailpiece on. Without is 11.5cm.
