[SOLD]Blackbird Wet Noodle $160

[SOLD]A wet noodle in a large BCHR pen! Imprints are good. The reason this pen isn't $200+ is because of the cap. There is a crack from the lip that runs up into the aftermarket Mabie Todd clip. Totally functional as is, but I lowered the price to reflect the cap damage. You can easily find another Blackbird cap, and that will make the pen damage free. The rest of the pen has no bite marks, gouges, cracks, or chips. Lever functions flawlessly drawing/expelling ink. Imprint and chasing is very detailed. The hard rubber has slightly oxidized, so it isn't a jet black pen, but still great to use, and the oxidation is very even. The only color difference is the capped portion. The nib is a wet noodle. Soft with huge line variation. The barrel is marked MED, and the nib does write a nice wet medium that flexes to BBBB. I have played with the pen quite a bit to work out some railroading issues when flexing to BBB and up widths. I'm happy to say that when slowed down will hardly railroad. Its a great pen that is soft and smooth. If you want a really soft nib that just reaches BBB this nib is the ticket. It will go more, but as mentioned has railroading issues unless using a wet ink and slowing down a little for the huge swells. Feed and section is imprinted with Blackbird. Pen has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid on 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements for the pen are: 12.5cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.8cm unposted.
