Very collectible and superb writing Lady Patricia in the Onyx finish. The cap like many other Lady Patricias has a little bit of celluloid oxidation because of the air tight inner cap which traps gases that change the celluloid's color. Doesn't affect performance or structural integrity, but causes cosmetic wear. The pattern however is still very striking resembling real Onyx or Marble with beautiful Red veins. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. The gold trim is in excellent condition. Imprints are good. The section has been replaced by a black section from a Lady Patricia Nacre. Same size, but black instead of burgundy. The original Waterman's Ideal 14k gold nib has excellent flexibility for line variation, and writes from a XF to BB+. Great nib allowing hairlines with a light hand, and perfect for fancy scripts. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 11cm capped, 13.5cm posted, and 10cm unposted.
