[SOLD]Swan 6242 Blue Marble
Beautiful flexible Swan in Blue Marble finish. The marble finish has some iridescent parts to it which looks very nice in good lighting. Threads are excellent. Gold trim is good, but showing just a slight hint of wear. Imprints are excellent. Clip has superb tension, but is not perfectly straight. It doesn't affect function. Swan motif on cap top is deep. Lever is smooth and operates flawlessly. The feed has "Swan" imprinted on it. The 14k solid gold Swan nib has very nice flex writing from Fine to BB+ that shades nicely. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. Beautiful full size pen, and one of the best vintage fountain pen makers. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 12.5cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.7cm unposted.
