[SOLD]Waterman 12 Mottled Red Eyedropper $190

[SOLD]Waterman 12 Mottled Red Eyedropper

Excellent condition Waterman 12 eyedropper from well over a century old. The red mottled pattern has a Woodgrain look to it, and is absolutely beautiful. It has an aftermarket clip that can slide off if not wanted. The cap has two very tiny chips in it that are less than 1mm deep. Imprints are very deep deep and detailed. Just a tiny hint of color different from the cap and uncapped portion of the barrel. This pen has a replacement nib, and most likely replaced for flexibility reasons since this nib is Superflex+ just a touch away from being a wet noodle. The writing sample does not show how flexible the nib really is in reality because my girlfriend does most of my writing samples for me, and she is very scared of springing a nib. Imagine the widest swell being another 10% wider. This is without muscling the nib! It is that flexible. What's amazing is the nib can produce hairlines because of the unflexed XXF width then giving swells to BBBB with ease. A superb example of vintage flex. Pen will include two plastic pipettes for ease of filling. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 13.2cm capped, 17cm posted, and 12.2cm unposted.

Asking price is $190 shipped within CONUS via Priority with tracking/insurance. USA buyers preferred. International buyers please PM or Email for shipping rates. I am not responsible for any duty fees incurred since I have no control over customs.
