[SOLD]Pelikan 140 Green Striated F

I have another Pelikan 140. These pens are awesome Pelikans from the 40's that write beautifully with some flex. This one has excellent barrel transparency to view ink levels. The cap threads are excellent and the cap screws on smooth and snug. Clip and cap band has some trim wear, but clip has superb tension, and the "Germany" & "Pelikan 140" info on the cap band still visible. Piston mechanism has been restored and is smooth in operation. There are a few light scratches on the green striated binde near the piston knob. Couldn't capture it in the pics. The nib unit can be taken out with ease, and unlike my last 140 the collar is intact making the nib unit interchangeable with other Pelikans of similar size. The nib on this is the original Pelikan 14k gold nib in Fine. And it writes true to size with flex that lays down a Fine to BB+. Overall a solid pen in good condition with beautiful writing characteristics. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 12.5cm capped, 14.2cm posted, and 11.2cm unposted.
