[SOLD]Parker Parkette Set $38

[SOLD]Parker Parkette Set

This user grade set writes excellent, but has cosmetic flaws. Both pen and pencil work like they should but are missing cap bands. The FP is missing its two top cap bands, and the pencil is missing its very top cap band. The color is a very nice Black/Burgundy which should be old Duofold stock that was being phased out. This pen is circa 1933 after the Great Depression when most pen manufacturers were struggling to keep profits. Thus the Parco was born. One of Parker's first lever fillers that proved quite successful and eventually had its own line which turned into the Parkette. There are no chips/cracks in either instruments and besides the missing cap bands the set is in good condition. Pardon the dust in the pic of the ends. I didn't notice it and forgot to give the pen a quick wipe before pics. Clip has beautiful stepped design and has excellent tension. The imprints are good, and legible to the naked eye. The nib writes from a Medium/Broad to BB line that is very smooth, and is Semi-Flex. Pencil expels/retracts lead like it should. Great budget set for users. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 12cm capped, 14.5cm posted, and 11cm unposted. Pencil is 12cm.
