Very nice preserved Wahl Gold Filled Chevron patterned wet noodle! The gold fill has been excellently preserved, and you can see my reflection in the butt end while taking pictures. The imprints on the top of the cap are deep and crisp. Cartouche area is clear and never personalized. The gem of this pen is the wonderfully flexible nib. It writes from a wet F/M that flexes amazingly to BBBB. Keep in mind the writing sample is done on .5 cm grid paper and the widest lines easily covers 3/4 of a square. This nib is also very responsive and springs back once you let off the pressure. Amazing pen to write fancy scripts with. If you develop a light hand then you can make this pen sing! Threads are excellent. There are no cracks, bite marks, or deep scratches. Only minor wear that is normal with use and normal for a vintage pen of this age. Has a new sac and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 9.2cm capped, 12.5cm posted, and 8.5cm unposted.
