[TRADED]Onoto The Pen Plunger Filler
A nice specimen that is in great condition. The barrel and cap has a raindrop wavy patterning(please check pics). I'm not sure what model this is, but its a fully working plunger/vacuum filler with brand new gaskets. The turning knob shows either a 5601 or a 3601, but the pattern on this pen is amazing. If anyone has more info please pm or email me! Very similar to a Onoto Magna. This thing holds an enormous amount of ink since it utilizes almost its entire barrel to store ink. Imprints are superb, and the personalization area is untouched. While the barrel and cap is a black plastic(most likely celluloid) the ends are hard rubber with just a bit of discoloring making it a faded black. Gold trim is in fairly good shape with very small areas showing wear. Clip has excellent tension and functions perfectly. The original 14k gold nib is a factory Medium Stub, giving it line variation on the downstrokes. The nib also has a bit of flex which gives a lovely cushioned soft feel when writing. Very very smooth. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 16cm posted, and 12cm unposted.
