[SOLD]Parker Blue Diamond Vacumatic Major Brown Straited

Very good condition Blue Diamond Vacumatic in brown straited pattern. Has a new diaphragm which suck up/expels ink well. Clip has excellent tension. The cap jewel is in good shape. The jeweler's band on the cap is inscription free! Imprints are excellent, but the pattern plus poor photography makes it harder to see. Date code of first quarter 1946 with 3 dots around the 6. The nib is the original 14k gold arrow nib. It writes a XF and although a buttery smooth nail, it can give a little line variation when pressure is applied to put down a little more ink onto the paper from XF-M/B. The barrel has browned which makes it hard to see the ink level through the once translucent stripping. No major cracks, bite marks, chips, or scratches. Just some usual wear in a well preserved pen. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 15cm posted, and 12cm unposted.
