[SOLD]Conway Stewart 388 Green Marble
Beautiful Green Marble finish. The CS 388 is a nice full size pen with beautiful finish, and a nice springy semi-flex nib that makes a great daily writer. Threads are excellent and cap screws on/off smoothly and snug. The black hard rubber cap top is still nice and black. The two thinner cap bands show some wear while the middle main band is in great shape. CS logo on the clip is very detailed, and clip has good tension, but it shows a little bit of plating wear. The lever functions well, but the CS logo is almost completely worn. The 14k gold Conway Stewart 5N nib is smooth and has a bit of flex. Writing from a Medium-BB. Nice flow and smooth writer. Imprints are pretty worn, but you can partially make it out under good lighting. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. Structually 100%, and a great writer. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 12.5cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.5cm unposted.
