A nice little Wahl Ringtop in hard rubber with the Greek Key pattern. The pen is in excellent condition. No bite marks, cracks, or major scratches. Only some light microscratches. Un-monogrammed with deep detailed Greek Key pattern. The ringtop is very solid and the triangular ring swivels 180 degrees from left to right. There is no discoloration, so the pen was hardly used in its day. All original pen with all original parts including the smooth Wahl 14k gold #2 nib which is very flexible giving line variation when wanted! A smooth writer with very nice shading qualities. Writes from a Fine unflexed, and flexes to BB+. The imprints on the top of the cap is a little worn, but legible under lighting. Although the pen is quite small, it becomes a useable size when posted at 12.2cm/4.8inches. The cap lip seems to have a little wear, but no cracks or anything of the sort. The edge is just uneven, but the cap band will protect this area from damage. This is pretty rare among Wahl ringtops since most will be gold filled, but a Ebonite ringtop in this condition sure is hard to come by. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 9cm capped, 12.2cm posted, and 8.3cm unposted.
