A very rare and sought after Swan Snakeskin model number is SM100/85. The imprints are superb on the barrel and near the barrel end. Very deep and crisp. The pattern is beautiful and very striking. Clip has brassing, but the Swan logo is detailed with no fading. The cap top logo is excellent being very crisp with original white paint. The top of the cap does have some small scratches pointed out in the pics. Hard rubber lever operates perfectly. Threads are excellent, and the cap screws on smooth and snug. Section and hard rubber feed has "Swan M1" imprinted. The nib is quite amazing as it is a Swan's 14k gold #1 nib. It is on the XF/F side, but amazingly smooth especially for such a fine point. Semi-flexes to BB with great snapback. Great looker and superb writer. No cracks or splits, only a few scratches on top of cap. Snatch it up quick since these pens have never sat in my possession for more than a day once I list it on FPN. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 12.5cm capped, 15cm posted, and 11.2cm unposted.
