Good flex for the money!
This Swan has a replacement cap from an older Swan model made of hard rubber. The body is celluloid with superbly deep and crisp imprints. There is trim wear on the lever and edges of the gold bands. The replacement cap has very good trim that is still nice and shiny. Even the clip ball shows no wear. The very edge of the clip shows just a little wear if you're looking for it(highlighted in pics). The model imprint is good and legible. The Swan 14k gold nib is nice and flexible. Writes a Medium unflexed, and flexes nicely to BBB giving very nice line variation in your writing. Hard rubber feed delivers excellent ink flow to the flexible nib. The pen writes very smoothly, and shades to give beautiful characterful text. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 13.8cm capped, 17cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
