A lovely Lady Patricia Nacre set in good overall condition. The fountain pen is infamous for its lovely finishes, and is highly collectible. Nacre set is a cream marbleized and black pattern. Let's start with the pen. There are no cracks, splits, or bite marks on the pen. Pen has a little brassing to the chrome trim most notably on the cap band and the edge on one side of the clip. Cap top and lever in great condition and trim is full and shiny. Imprints are full and legible to the naked eye although not the deepest. Lovely original Waterman's Ideal 14k gold nib has superb flex. Writes from a juicy Fine to BBB. The nib is just a touch scratchy, but still offers that wonderful vintage flex. It is an excellent Full Flex+/Superflex. The pencil has bite marks. The imprints on the pencil are deep and crisp. It is fully functional and twisting the tip will expel or retract lead. The clip is slightly bent, and has a gap, but has tension. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid on 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. It is a bit blurry on the left side of the sample because the scan was out of a notebook and the left wasn't completely flat against the scan. Measurements for the pen are: 11cm capped, 14cm posted, and 10cm unposted. The pencil measures at 10.8cm.
