Pen is near mint almost like NOS condition! Imprints on this pop like a brand new pen, and the engine turned chasing design is so deep and crisp that you can feel it even with a subtle light touch! I've came across some pens in excellent to near mint condition before, but this Blackbird is in such good shape it puts even some NOS pens to shame. Hard rubber is jet black with no signs of any wear what so ever. Pen is completely original including the MT & Co 14k Blackbird nib. The pen has imprint of "MED", but it really writes more like a Fine/Medium. Has a little bit of flex to give a nice cushioned luxurious feel. I have only dip tested the nib to keep the pen sac-less to maintain its collectible condition. If the new owner wants I can have the pen with a installed sac. Ink flow will be superb since I have cleaned out the feed/nib and the ink channels flow well when I blow air into the section. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid on 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.5cm capped, 17cm posted, and 12.7cm unposted.
