[SOLD]Aiken Lambert "ALCO" BCHR $65

[SOLD]Aiken Lambert "ALCO" Black Chased Hard Rubber

For those that do not know of Aiken Lambert, they were wonderful pen makers that were eventually bought out by Waterman. You can see this model with its beautiful chasing resembles many chased Watermans. ALCO stands for Aiken Lambert & Co. They also made very high quality nibs, and Waterman bought them out to take a competitor out of the market. In other words Waterman saw them as a potential threat! Enough  about the history lets move on to the pen! This baby is jet black and the hard rubber shows no oxidation. The chasing is very deep and detailed. Imprints are good, but a little worn on the bottom portion. Filling lever works perfectly and the Nickel trim shows no wear. The original ALCO 14k gold nib writes a beautiful Fine that semi-flexes to BB+. Quite a collectible pen since these are hardly seen in this good of a condition. Also has a nice little story behind this pen. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements: 11cm capped, 14cm posted, and 10.2cm unposted.

Edit: I forgot to add this pen is clipless and used a ringtop, but the ringtop is missing. Fortunately it did not do any damage to the top of the cap.
