[SOLD]Waterman 52V BCHR $140

[SOLD]Waterman 52V BCHR

This is the full girth 52, but a vest pocket variant hence the 52V. The chasing on this pen is phenomenal. It is very deep and highly detailed. Imprints are very good, and is fully legible to the naked eye. The model imprint is also very depe and crisp, and retains about 95% of its original red paint. There is slight discoloration to the hard rubber, but you wouldn't even notice unless you're in very good lighting. Cap has no ringtop or clip, and came from the factory this way. Back in the day when these were being produced a clip or ring top cost extra, and some people opted for a plain cap. The original Waterman's Ideal 14k gold #2 nib is a very nice writer with ample amounts of flex! It writes from a F/M closer to Fine to a BBB when flexed. Very smooth even among some of the nicer pens I offer this one has a nib that means business! Lever has good details of Ideal Globe, and works like a charm. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. Only slight discoloration of the hard rubber which I can re-blacken if the new owner would like. I just decided to leave it original for the new owner to decide before re-blackening it. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 11.1cm capped, 14.5cm posted, and 10.7cm unposted.
