Very nice Waterman 54 with superb details. The imprint is crisp and the chasing is very good. The cap is missing a clip, but no cracks, and threads onto the pen smoothly and tight. Model imprint is a little faded, but still legible to the naked eye. Lever is nice and shiny with excellent details on the Ideal Globe lever. The pen overall is a little oxidized making it a dark brown color instead of the original jet black which is quite rare with hard rubber pens as old as these(almost a century if not already that old). This 54 has amazing flow. I cannot get the pen to railroad unless doing something ridiculous like doing repeated page long strokes of flexing. Super flex nib writes from F-BBB with nice shading qualities, and good responsiveness. No cracks, chips, bite marks, or deep scratches to speak of. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 14cm capped, 17cm posted, and 13.2cm unposted.
