I have a Excellent-Near Mint condition Parker 51 Special up for grabs today! The pen is in Midnight Blue with a shiny almost mirror like Lustraloy cap. No dents or major scratches on the cap. The clip has excellent tension, and the black cap jewel is nice and shiny. There is a engraving of "Ariel" on the barrel. The pen has its original Octanium steel nib which is buttery smooth. As smooth or smoother than the 14k 51 nibs that I've encountered. The pen is in full working order with a nice pliable/supple Silicone sac. The Silicone sacs last a much longer time than their Latex cousins. Writes a consistently smooth F/M line. The box is in perfect condition with crisp corners, and no tears or rips. The instructions pamphlet is in near mint condition with one or two marks, but no writing. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.2cm capped, 16.5cm posted, and 12cm unposted.
