[SOLD]Waterman 52 BCHR $125

[SOLD]Waterman 52 Black Chased Hard Rubber
Pen ID #A212
Waterman's 52 is quite a pen, and if you've never owned one than you are missing out. This is one of those pens that if you must get a taste of vintage Waterman than the 52 is it much like the 51 for Parker. This one is in BCHR with the chasing a bit more crisp than the barrel. The chasing on the barrel is there and visible, but its not deep like some past pens I've sold. The imprints on the barrel, end of barrle, and butt end are all superb being deep and crisp. The lever has a little wear, but the details of the Ideal Globe are still excellent. The only downside to this pen is that it is missing the clip. There are no bite marks, chips/cracks, or deep scratches of any kind. If this pen had its clip it would be quite the prize. The hard rubber has minor oxidization turning it to a dark brown instead of a prime example of jet black(looks black unless under bright lights). The nib is where the beauty of the pen is, and this all original pen has its original Waterman's Ideal #2 14k gold nib. It writes very smooth with wonderful flex. Writes from a Fine unflexed to a BB+ when flexed. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.5cm unposted.
