[SOLD]Wahl Eversharp Tulip Cap BCHR 

A very nice Wahl Eversharp that is suppose to have a Tulip Clip, but the clip is missing and leaves the Tulip shape on the top cap end. The top cap end has Wahl Eversharp maker's info, has excellent gold trim, but a scratch across the info(check pics). The cap end also has a linear dent, but is very nice and reflective. Almost mirror like. All the bands have excellent gold trim with minor wear. The Chasing is quite worn, and in the Greek Key pattern. Hard rubber lightly oxidized to a very dark brown. The nib is the original Wahl Eversharp #2 nib marked "Flexible." And this one has been one of the most flexible I've come across with the Flexible marking. Most are semi-flex and full flex at best, but this one is Full Flex+ between a Full Flex and Superflex. Superb flow and very smooth. There are however cracks in the threads. Most likely due to insert sleeve inside the barrel building a patina causing the section to fit too tight. I've sanded off the patina and also gave the section a nice cleaning, and it now fits properly without being overly tight. This sleeve inside the barrel should help to not stress the cracks. With all being said this pen is a very flexible and superbly smooth pen that will give writing joy to the new owner. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 11cm capped, 14cm posted, and 10cm unposted.
