[SOLD]Swan 4220 Leverless Dark Blue

This Swan Leverless 4220 is Dark Blue although its hard to capture in the pictures. A nice color besides the plain back that are more common. The gold trim is actually pretty good, but the pics make the clip look worn. The clip actually looks just like the cap bands. The trim isn't as gold as it would be if brand new, but its shiny and lustrous and still looks great in person. The cone ends add a beautiful look to the pen. Threads are great and threads on/off smooth snug. The black hard rubber section is slightly discolored. It's still black, but more of a matte black that isn't the darkest. Imprints are very crisp and detailed. The nib is quite unique in that it is a Phillips 14k nib. Phillips were a famous stationary store in Oxford, England. They were known for replacing nibs with their own which is very high quality. Abundant tipping material and it is extremely smooth for such a fine width. Writes from a XF/F - BBB. Nice flex, beautiful smooth writer, and in a beautiful Swan Leverless. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 13.5cm capped, 15.6cm posted, and 11.5cm unposted.
