[SOLD]Swan 3340 Dark Green

A very nice large cigar shaped Swan with a rare #3 gold nib. The #1 and #2 are much more common than these #3. It has gold trim that is in good condition with tiny hints of trim wear on the lower cap bands, and ball of the clip. Hardly noticeable unless looked for. The section on this pen is a favorite for many as it is threaded into the body. Like almost all my pens I leave the section un-shellacked for easy removal for future maintenance. The imprints are very strong and detailed including the model imprint. The pictures don't show the green color, but it is a dark green almost British Racing Green or a shade darker. Section also has "Swan" imprinted. The feed is a replacement that has "SF2" imprint instead of just the "Swan." It is the same style and matches the nib well which provides great flow when flexed. The original Swan 14k gold made in England #3 nib is a semi-flex that is great for daily or fast writing, but when slowed down will give controlled line variation from a F/M to BB+. A great pen for any collection or rotation. No cracks, bite marks, or splits. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid on 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements for the pen are: 12.5cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.8cm unposted.
