[SOLD]Eversharp Bantam Set Bulb Filler $100
[SOLD]Eversharp Bantam Set Bulb Filler
Eversharp's little bulb filler might not get as much recognition as their bigger pens, but let me tell you this pen is a quality writing instrument! It sports a Wahl 14k size 0 nib with great flexibility. It's bulb filler design is simple with a bulb sac under it's blind cap, and a breather tube to allow the little pen to hold more ink than what you'd expect. While most Bantams had a gold plated steel nib, some were fitted with a solid 14k size 0 nib that is a high quality nib like on this one. Very smooth and has flex to boot. Writes from a Fine to BBB that is categorized as Full Flex. Imprints are amazingly sharp as day one. The gold trim on these are not the best, but this particular pen has excellent trim with only a tiny hint of wear on the edge of the clip. You can't even see it in person(keep in mind pics are blown up with brighter lighting than normal). To fill: Unscrew blind cap to reveal bulb sac, place nib into ink partially covering the section, give the bulb at the end about 10 pumps or until no bubbles emerge from squeezing the bulb sac. Pencil works like it should, and both are in excellent condition. More info can be found on the great Richard Binder's Site. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. Hardly any microscratches too! Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 9.8cm capped, 11.8cm posted, and 9cm unposted.
