The pen is highly discounted for a missing clip. The trim is in great shape, and is nice and shiny. Imprints are deep and crisp. The pen is made from black celluloid which is in superb condition with a nice glossy luster. There are some chips missing from the end where the lever is, but no cracks that will spread. The nib/feed has been set in a non-traditional way, but provides good flow and writing characteristics. Pen is Canadian made, and is all original including the nib which is marked "Waterman's Ideal 14k Canada 2." It writes smooth and has flex to give line variation. A beautiful full flex nib that writes from Fine to BB+. It makes a great budget flex pen if you don't mind the missing clip and small chips from where the lever is. Some minor scratches here and there throughout the years, but nothing significantly deep. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 12.8cm capped, 16.2cm posted, and 12.1cm unposted.
