Besides the missing clip this pen is in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. The chasing is highly detailed. Hard rubber has light oxidation over the years turning the hard rubber a dark brown, but still almost black. Imprints are crisp and deep. Lever is nice and shiny. Threads are crisp, and cap screws on/off smoothly and snug. There is a replacement clip that is spring loaded which is nice if you will be using it. It can slide on/off the cap easily. Nice full girth, vest pocket length 52 hence the "V". The nib is a beauty and is a joy to write with. It is the original Waterman's Ideal 14k gold nib that writes from a Fine to BBB offering beautiful line variation! Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 10.8cm capped, 13.9cm posted, and 130.3cm unposted.
