[SOLD]Waterman 52V $110

[SOLD]Waterman 52V

This Waterman 52V has a unique cap band that is a replacement to protect the lip from a present small crack that has been stabilized, and does not affect capping/uncapping. Has excellent imprints that are crisp and legible to the naked eye. Lever has a little bit of trim wear, but the details are excellent and it functions like it should expelling/drawing ink very well. Threads are excellent. The nib seems to be a replacement, but is a Waterman's Ideal 14k #2 nib made in England. Probably replaced because previous owner wanted a nice flexible nib capable of hairlines. Sporting a XXF that can flex to BB+ giving huge line variation from hairlines to thick swells. Perfect for something practicing fancy scripts. The hard rubber has even oxidation which has left it a dark even brown. The pen did have chasing, but has worn away throughout the years. Not surprising considering the age of the pen could be a century old. Still writes like a champ! Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 11cm capped, 14.7cm posted, and 10.7cm unposted.
