[SOLD]Waterman 0652 1/2 Double Bands $125

[SOLD]Waterman 0652 1/2 Double Bands

This Waterman is a slimmer variant of the classic "52" and the 06 designation refers to the double gold filled bands which add a very nice touch to the pen. Imprints are pretty worn and only a hint of it remains. The model imprint slightly better, but is weak as well. The gold trim is good, and the double bands only exhibit a tiny hint of wear on the edges, and is barely noticeable. The cap is quit uncommon as it is a ringtop even though the pen is full length. No bite marks, cracks, or gouges. The section is quite oxidized and is a brown compared to the rest of the pen. Threads are superb, and cap screws on/off smooth and snug. The nib is the original Waterman's Ideal 14k Gold #2 nib which has flex! It writes from XF to BB+ with superb rebound and control. Ith as a tiny tiny nick on the left tine which is highlighted in the pics. The nick has no effect on its structural integrity, and the nib writes beautifully. Pen has been restored, filled, writing sample done, and thoroughly cleaned awaiting its new owner. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 13.5cm capped, 16.5cm posted, and 13cm unposted.
