[SOLD]Waterman 94 Grey w/Keyhole Nib
For those that want a rare Waterman that is buttery glass smooth nail for everyday writing I got a special treat for you guys. This 94 has a manifold 14k Keyhole nib. While I usually offer flex, I just couldn't pass this up because of its scarcity. Excellent condition with no damage, and only some wear to the trim. Excellent threads and the cap screws on/off smoothly and snug. Imprints are some of the best I've ever seen. Very deep, crisp, and detailed. The hard rubber section has oxidized to a dark brown, but I can re-blacken free of charge if the buyer wants. Stepped cap, and art deco clip makes this pen very stylish and vintage. Of course the beauty of the pen is its rare Waterman's keyhole nib. It is a nail, but the flow is excellent and the nib is glass smooth. Gives a little bit of line variation when pressure is added to put down a little more ink onto the paper for a little expressive writing, and it also shades well! Writes a consistent Fine that you can muscle a little line variation out of. Excellent ink capacity on this pen. Sucks up huge amount of ink! Very nice thickness as well for a vintage pen. No cracks, chips, or bite marks. Only some trim wear. Has a new sac and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 16.3cm posted, and 12cm unposted.
