Sheaffer Targas are awesome pens for their durable construction and a beautiful iconic inlaid nib. This pen comes with its original box, and is in near mint condition! Brass construction with a red that is deep and rich. The gold trim on the pen is perfect. Clip has the infamous white dot and has excellent tension. This will come with 1 empty slim cartridge and 2 un-opened cartridges, all are original Sheaffer Slim Carts. The writing sample was done with the original Sheaffer cartridge which has their Skrip ink. It is blue, but it is not very vibrant. Probably loss some of its color because of the age. It is alot duller than the usual Noodler's Blue I'm used to, but it should show the springiness and the line variation this pen achieves. The 14k gold inlaid nib writes from a F/M-BB. It has a cushioned feel, and looks very professional. Good balance whether it is posted or not. Pen has been thoroughly cleaned after writing sample and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.5cm capped, 14.7cm posted, and 11.5cm unposted.
