This is a great user grade condition Waterman 52. It is actually chased, with good condition chasing. The hard rubber have even oxidation. The cap is missing its clip. Lever has some wear and doesn't sit flush to the barrel, but functions perfectly drawing/expelling ink. Now with all the bad points aside lets get on with the good. The imprints are very good and legible to the naked eye. Threads are excellent and the cap screws on smooth and snug. There are no cracks, chips, or bite marks. The nib is a flexible Waterman's 14k gold Oblique Broad. On the side strokes it writes a Fine and on the down strokes its a Broad, but it also has some flex to give even more line variation, up to BBB. The pen also has nice shading qualities. A great user pen at a reduced price because of its condition. Has a new sac and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13.5cm capped, 16.5cm posted, and 12.6cm unposted.
