[SOLD]Conway Stewart 28 Red Herringbone
A nice rare treat in excellent condition! Cap jewel is perfectly black with no dings or scratches. Clip has a little bit of tarnish. Cap band's trim is excellent with one small speck of edge wear, but the rest of the band looks great. Lever has great "CS" logo detail and a little bit of trim wear, but does not detract from the overall beauty of this pen. Imprints are nice and full and legible to the naked eye although not the deepest, but is all there. The Red Herringbone color is one of the rarer Herringbone finishes, and if you look elsewhere you will see they command a much higher price than my asking price of $205. Original Conway Stewart 14k gold nib writes a smooth line with semi-flex behavior giving a bit of line variation and character to your writing. Writes from a Fine to BB+. This pen is made out of Casein and should NOT get wet. Has a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 13cm capped, 15.7cm posted, and 11.6cm unposted.
