[SOLD]Waterman Thorobred Vest Pen
Highly discounted vintage flex pen for the crazing and wear on the pen. It writes, fills, and expels just fine, but has cosmetic issues. The trim is pretty shot on the pen. Imprints are fairly worn, but can be made out. There is a crazing line on the cap that goes all the way around. It is not a full crack, so the cap is still in one piece, and putting some force on it still holds strongly together. The butt end also shows a crack, but isn't all the way through to the inside. The pen is still solid, and you don't need to worry about the pen falling apart on you anytime soon at least not for a few decades as long as the pen isn't abused. Threads are good, and the cap screws on/off smoothly and snug. The nib is a Waterman's 14k Ideal nib that writes from a Fine to BB+. It's a nice budget pen for someone that is just getting into flex, and won't mind the cosmetic issues that just wants a vintage all original pen with a 14k gold nib that will put out some nice line variation. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 10.9cm capped, 14cm posted, and 10.5cm unposted.
