[SOLD]Waterman 12 N.Y. Nib GF Overlay $200

[SOLD]Waterman 12 New York Nib Gold Filled Overlay Eyedropper

A rare Waterman 12 from the early 1910's with original New York solid gold nib. The pen is in very good condition regarding its age. The gold filled overlay is hardly seen up for sale anymore. The gold fill is very good with very nice shine and luster. There is a little wear to outter edges of gold fill. The excellent eyedropper design holds a very large amount of ink. The black hard rubber has some oxidation and is a dark brown, but I can reblacken it if the new owner wants(free of charge with Pen Potion9). No engraving on personalization area. Model number a little faint, but still legible. Slip on cap in good condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Section has a few scratches. Pen has a little trim wear, and hard rubber discoloration. The original Waterman's Ideal New York nib is very smooth and lays down a nice juicy line. Writes a F/M when unflexed, and flexes very nicely to BB+ with moderate pressure. Original Waterman hard rubber feed provides excellent flow and has the faded patent date imprint. A great pen to write fancy scripts with or a nice daily writer with some character. Throughly cleaned, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 13.5cm capped, 15.6cm posted, and 11.8cm unposted.

Asking price is $200 shipped within CONUS via Priority with tracking. USA buyers preferred. International buyers please PM or Email for shipping rates.
