[SOLD]Moore L-72 BHR Ringtop
Nice little Moore L-72 in Black Hard Rubber with a lined pattern. The hard rubber has a touch of oxidation and is not jet black, but still very dark. The ringtop tassie is strong, and would make an excellent pocket pen. Threads are crisp, and the cap screws on/off smooth and snug. Imprints are strong and easily legible. The lever works perfectly, but on the left edge has two small hairlines. It also sometimes will fall slightly out of the resting position when held upside down. This does not happen when in use, but should be noted. The nib has a touch of a small wave behind the tipping which does NOT adversely affect the writing experience. The heat set feed/nib provides excellent flow to a nice 14k gold Moore #2 nib. The nib is a semi-flex+ and gives beautiful line variation while providing excellent control and responsiveness. This would be an excellent pen for anyone getting into flex, and would like a all original vintage pen with a solid 14k gold flex nib. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements for the pen are: 11cm capped, 13.6cm posted, and 10cm unposted.
