Beautiful Conklin Crescent Filler #30 in BCHR. The chasing on the cap is more prominent than the body. It is a bit worn on the body. Spring loaded clip has superb tension, but has a touch of wear on the top and bottom edge. Threads are crisp, and the cap screws on/off smooth and snug. Imprints are pretty worn, but the right hand side of the imprints which states model number can be made out. This model 30 is a full size pen and has great balance posted or not. The Crescent filler looks great with superb company info details, and is nice and shiny. I like these Crescent fillers because they can filled with one hand once you move the Crescent lock. Pen functions beautifully, and writes beautifully with an original Conklin Tolede 14k gold #3 nib. It is a smooth writing semi-flex that writes from a XF/F to BB+. Almost forgot to mention that the section screws into the barrel counter-clockwise compared to a lot of other Conklins that I've seen are friction fit. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 13.5cm capped, 17cm posted, and 12.4cm unposted.
