Excellent condition, all original, and a Superflex+ nib! Pen has superb imprints. Nice and crisp. Superb threads. Trim is very good with just a touch of wear on the clip by the rivets. Still has excellent tension. The hard rubber is dark and the capped portion has the slightest color difference. Almost non detectable in normal room lighting. The nib is a monster on this bad boy. It has the original 14k gold Canadian made Ideal nib. The amazing part is how much line variation this nib has! From XF to BBBB creating huge swells. It is also very soft and flexible. Just a hair away from a wet noodle. It is also very responsive with superb springback. The nib has some small stains on out that didn't completely polish out, but I suspect it will gradually go away. When I first worked on this pen the nib is completely black. I'm pretty sure regular use the stain will slowly decrease. I didn't want to over polish the nib and rid it of Waterman's stamping. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 13.2cm capped, 16.5cm posted, and 12.5cm unposted.
