[SOLD]Waterman 12 PSF
This pen is a great discounted user grade pen. The imprints aren't what they use to be. And the pen was so oxidized that I re-blackened it with Pen Potion #9. The treatment gives the pen a fresh look. This pen has a replacement cap also from a Waterman 12 or 52 with gold filled band. The cap has a chip and two cracks, but they don't run pass the cap band or up to where the inner threads are. So it shouldn't cause any drying issues. Model imprint is fairly good and has a bit of red paint left, so I didn't blacken the very end where the model imprint is. The nib is a joy to write with! It is the original Waterman's Ideal New York nib. One of the tines were damage when I received it, so I decided to grind it into an Italic. It is a smooth and wet writer. The Italic grind measures at 1.3mm, and has excellent flow which keeps up superbly when you want to flex it for monstrous line variation. The writing sample will show cross hatching with and without flex so you get an idea of the line achieved with some flex added to it. While this pen may have a damage cap lip it does not affect function, and the new ground is very smooth and wet making it an excellent user pen. Should you want to replace the cap in the future a Waterman 52 or full size 12 should fit. Knocked nearly 50% off the price because it is not in excellent condition. Has a new sac. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 13.8cm capped, 16.7cm posted, and 13cm uncapped.
