[SOLD]Swan Self Filler #2

This is a nice glossy black Swan SF #2 nib. The body does not have a model number, but imprints include "Self Filler" which was typical for a number of Swan's models. Over time they have become known as the SF pens with either a #2 or #4 nib. The #4 nibs are quite rare compared to the #2 nibs. This pen has virtually no wear on the celluloid barrel/cap. There are some brassing on the lever, clip and cap band. The imprints are excellent on the barrel. Swan motif on top of cap is crisp and defined. Clip has excellent tension and would make a great travel pen because of it. The pen seems to be original except for the feed which reminds me of the Waterman feeds. It mates perfectly with the nib and delivers excellent flow to Swan's 14ct #2 nib which writes a smooth F/M unflexed and flexes to BB with moderate pressure. This pen isn't as flexible as some of my other offerings, but the behavior of the nib would allow for fast writing with some personality of line variation when wanted. A smooth juicy shading writer that would make an excellent daily writer. Fitted with a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 12.5cm capped, 15.5cm posted, and 11.6cm unposted.
